Hey there, I'm Haven, an illustrator and comic artist specializing in vibrant and whimsical work. With five years of experience in freelance commissions, I've had the pleasure of storyboarding for various clients and creating concept art for a small indie studio, BoldBird Studios. Art has been a lifelong passion of mine, and I pour all of myself into every project.

I had the incredible opportunity to enhance my skills in concept art, story writing, film production, and 3D modeling at the Career Technical Education Center (CTEC) in Salem, Oregon. As an ambitious, persevering, and warm-hearted artist, I believe that providing the best experience to those I work with is a cornerstone of my brand and who I am. I approach every project with diligence and warmth, creating the best artwork that suits my clients' needs. Whether working on commercials with CTEC's production team or one-on-one commissions, I'm excited to connect with clients and create pieces that hold special meaning to them.

My experience with BoldBird Studios was one of my best industry experiences, working with creators and workers who were passionate about their projects. I contributed concepts that will be featured in their upcoming animated series, DYAD. I bring all of myself to each project and am constantly seeking new perspectives and opportunities. My latest project, Rosa a graphic novel, is a short story that represents my personal ambition and the internal struggles I've overcome. It's a visual allegory of my journey and reflects my heart's message to follow one's passion towards a brighter future.

In my art and illustration, I strive to showcase organic and feminine vibes, capturing the feelings within myself that best embody passion. I use vibrant, harmonious color palettes to create a sense of tranquility, well-being, and vibrancy in my work. I have a mixed realistic style, blending anime elements that allow for maximum expression and skill. I'm dedicated to pushing myself in all areas of my craft.

When I'm not creating art, I'm indulging my love of music. I've played bass since I was nine and have synesthesia, which enables me to see colors when I hear music or someone's voice. It's inspirational for my art and allows me to immerse myself in other worlds. I have eclectic music tastes, from lofi to EDM, pop, and modern rock. I also enjoy snowboarding and rock climbing, facing new challenges and pushing myself to become my best self. Staying healthy, both physically and mentally, is essential to me, and I maintain a steady workout routine and healthy diet - with occasional indulgences in my weakness for chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies.

I'm committed to becoming an artist that inspires others, and hope to be a role model for many. It may be ambitious - but that wont stop me.
